Clarifying message from Gopal: In the informal conversation below between me and Brooke about the connections between climate, the fires, energy infrastructure and urbanization, there are some inadvertent conflation of some ideas (or, I think more correctly, some short-cuts around what I wanted to say) specifically when talking about energy democracy.

On the onset of the interview, Forte articulated that the primary location of the water spout made it very difficult to reach his garden, as he made his way to the origins of the main water source, Forte pointed out the area of land he had to dig a foot into the soil to create a piping system to reach his garden. In the long run this enabled him to sustain his 120 square foot plot of land and avoid trampling over others.

Feline conservation group, Conservation Catalyst, released what it says is the first-ever trail camera footage of an endangered ocelot in Arizona on Sunday, at what the group said on its Facebook page is a “critical point” in the species’ conservation.
